Survey About Life Quality Of The Older In QingZhou And Countermeasures

Population aging is not only a general trend in the field of the world’s population but also is a sign of progress in the area of science and economic development. Improving the older’s quality of life is the manifestation and requirements of the Scientific Outlook on Development, building harmonious society and promoting social progress and sustainable development. At present, it is very important to improve the older’s life quality. On the basis of existed theories and sample survey about the older’s life quality in QingZhou, this thesis tries to explore the relationship among the needs of the older, their financial situation, health, spirituall life and quality of life, which offer reference to make policy to the older and senior citizens.The thesis has five parts.Chapter one,Introduction,which introduce the background of the topic, theoretic and realistic meaning about life quality of the older, the process and development in this field both in domestic and international society, main ideas, needs theory and models, this thesis set QingZhou as an example to do samples survey to research this topic.Chapter two,basic survey introduction about the older’s quality of life in QingZhou. The thesis talks about the social and cultural backgrounds in QingZhou, introduce contents of the survey and the older’s spiritual life nowadays.Chapter three, At the same time, do some research on the older’s self---evaluation of happiness and satisfaction in life, summarize their statements toward life quality, what’s more, point out key elements which influence their life quality.Chapter four, the author analyses the key elements which influence their life quality, Through the analysis towards survey data, the thesis argues that the economic situation is the basic element, health condition is the core issue, and the pursuit of culture is the sign of high level of life quality. Among them, the sense of worthiness and learning are higher level in culture life. Material needs and spiritual needs are the two major needs of human society, manifested in individuals, are the survival needs and development needs. The human need is a multi-level, dynamic development process, in the condition of unchanged external environment, organized cultural and recreational activities can play a positive role in meeting the needs and improving the quality of life of the older.Chapter five, in this part, the author talks about the measures to improve the older’s life quality. The author holds the idea that if we want to improve the objective conditions that affect the life quality, we have to begin with improving the economic conditions, health and social endowment. Promoting the quality of culture life is a necessary step to improve the subjective conditions that influence the the older’s life quality. That is, update endowment concept, advocate cultural endowment, establish cultural endowment system, to let the leaders work effectively in cultural endowment. Constructing a life-long learning and national learning society; the the older have to adapt to the constantly changing world, to improve the group quality, we must turn learning from pure acquiring knowledge into a kind of lifestyle, improve and enrich ourselves and keep pace with times.
