| University laboratory is a scientific research base and it is the important place of the cultivation of college students’practical ability. In the21st century, with the reform and development of higher education, liberal arts laboratory continuously enrich the content and it becomes equally important and indispensable as science laboratory. Today’s liberal arts teaching is no longer the previous "a piece of chalk, a blackboard "teaching for liberal arts majors. They also need to cultivate their practical abilities, and need to have the innovative thinking. Liberal arts laboratory is an indispensable part of universities and colleges in our country.This paper regards a college in Hunan province (with the C College said) as the research object and the liberal arts laboratory experimental teaching process is studied. In order to comply with the development of the times and meet the needs of the society, great reform has been made on all aspects in C College since2002. For example, a large-scale construction has been made for laboratories of all departments, especially for the liberal arts laboratories. C College’s liberal arts laboratory gets enough capital to obtain the considerable development. Many liberal arts departments which have no laboratories have also established relative perfect function laboratories. Since2005, C college students especially the liberal arts students’comprehensive qualities are greatly improved. But because of the fast development of laboratories, and the management technology and personnel have not kept pace with them, laboratories have exposed many problems in many aspects. The most important problem is that the experimental teaching process design is not reasonable, so the laboratory in the experiment teaching process appears shorthanded, equipment failure supplies, waste, inefficiency. It has caused some influence to the experimental teaching.This paper focuses on the C College liberal arts experimental teaching process. Using Business Process Reengineering (BPR) theory, the paper points out the existing problems and carries on the analysis from the work flow setting, equipment layout, equipment maintenance, line and other aspects of liberal arts laboratory. Finally, liberal arts laboratory experimental teaching process should be optimizedly designed in the light of every problem in order to achieve the purpose of solving problem.After the experimental teaching process reengineering, C College’s liberal arts laboratory experimental teaching work carries out more smoothly. Making full use of the limited staff, it improves work efficiency and reduces unnecessary waste. |
