Optimize The Financial Reporting Process Of Colleges

With the improvement of national comprehensive strength,the importance of education is increasingly prominent,and the number and scale of schools are expanding.The funding methods of schools show a diversified development trend,and the diversification of funding sources and the complexity of reimbursement types in colleges and universities will lead to a significantly higher workload and difficulty level of accounting in the finance department of colleges and universities.As the number of financial staff is limited by the number of school staff,the contradiction between the front office staff and the huge workload has led to the problem of "difficult accounting",and it is urgent to solve it.The "5W1H" method is used to analyze the problems for the low efficiency of financial reporting in N universities.Based on theories of process reengineering and process optimization,the specific optimization solutions are proposed for different aspects of the financial reimbursement process,such as pre-delivery,on-site approval,payment and financial reporting environment.Its main conclusions are as follows.1.The "5W1H" questioning method was used to find out the problems of the reimbursement process in N universities in terms of financial pre-approval,financial regulations and systems,business volume and financial working environment,and information technology.The main problems include large business volume,concentrated reimbursement time,high pressure of financial audit and low efficiency of approval.2.The problems in reimbursement are optimized and improved according to the problem-oriented and ECRS principles.The use of a combination of online self-service and the establishment of a special drop box can effectively save the reimbursers’ pre-preparation time,improve the accuracy of reimbursement materials,and improve the work pressure of reimbursement teachers and finance staff.In order to reduce the workload related to economic operations,the payment process is recommended to use business cards and realize bank payments.3.The reimbursement result is linked to the recipient’s cell phone SMS,which makes it convenient for the reimbursement recipient to know the latest business progress,and it can optimize the collaborative office process and realize the online review and signature function.This method greatly facilitates the reimbursement faculty and students,making the pre-approval no longer restricted by time and location,and improving the efficiency of reimbursement.4.This paper proposes an environmental improvement plan for the financial reimbursement hall of N university.The 5S management theory is applied to organize items and areas,set cleaning standards,and strengthen the cultivation of personnel to enhance the moral cultivation of employees.At the same time,a reward and punishment system is set up to improve the working environment from the inside out and to make it sustainable.
