With the vigorous development of vocational education, how to combine culturalstudies and professional subjects becomes a new topic for every vocational educationteacher. At present, mathematic teaching material of vocational education hasalready set up the occupation module in Zhejiang Province. Although a lot of contentis related to professional knowledge, the pertinency has not been strong. Take themathematics teaching in mechanical major as an example, this article mainly focus onthe Reconstruction of the Content of the teaching material and the practice ofteaching.The secondary mechanical professional needs of mathematics teaching content isdetermined according to the analyzing the comparison of the present mathematicscurriculum and professional curriculum content, the investigation of the secondaryvocational students’ mathematical study and interviews of teachers of mechanicalexpertise. According to the students’ reality and the professional needs, thereconstruction focuses on the four modules of the teaching content: the basicarithmetic of real numbers, geometry, data processing and the triangle application. Atthe same time, the teaching practice has been carried out for a school term in09Numerical Control Class (1) the teaching content and teaching process have beengradually improved through the class effect analysis, questionnaire analysis andprofessional teacher’s feedback.This research get the following conclusion: first of all, four module teachingcontent initial achievements, of which the fourth module triangle application is themost professional characteristics of the teaching content. Second, the teachingcontents reasonable implementation, practical, and through the round ofpractice,,gradually improve the implementation plan, make its perational stronger.Again, teaching content and effective practice, has obtained the certain effect. Finally,in this study, based on study of the actual situation of secondary school, the teacherand school proposes suggestions, also pointed out that the research process theexistence of problem.
