The Research On Teaching Transition Between Junior Middle School And Senior Middle School And Its Improvement Measures

As one of the three key disciplines in basic education, English teaching has alwaysbeen paid widespread attention by society and academic circles. Though after three years’learning of English in junior middle school, students in senior middle school find it hard tolearn English well as before. They all think English in senior high school is much difficultthan junior period. They can’t find the right way to deal with this problem, nor do theEnglish teachers. So the purpose of this research is to investigate the status of the transitionbetween English teaching of the junior middle school and senior middle school, and comeup with some pratical suggestions to better the situation, make students finish their learningtasks smoothly.In order to get a better understanding of the present situation of the English teachingtransition, literature method, observation method and interview method are used in thisessay. Analyzing the influence factors, this research intends to put forward somereasonable countermeasures and make its own contributions. For example, students whoenrolled in the senior high school should adjust their states of mind. They should make fullpreparations to master the higher level English. Also, they need to form good learninghabits. To the teachers, they should enhance their awareness of transition, learn how tosolve the transition problems when facing them. At the same time, the cooperation betweenteachers who from junior middle school and senior middle school should be made as soonas possible. Only in these ways can the teaching transition problems be solved perfectly.Though it takes a long time to make this research, there must be some mistakes andshortcomings.However, If this research can make some differences to this topic, then itfulfills its task.
