As the beginning of a lifelong learning,preschool education is not only an important part of national education system,but also a significant social public welfare undertaking.It is of great significance to a person's overall harmonious development.The Party and state have attached more importance to education of southern Xinjiang than ever before,further strengthening supports to education of southern Xinjiang from the top level design.Based on three quality measure dimensions,this study investigates and analyzes the present situation of transition to school in bilingual kindergartens in Kashgar by using literature method and interviewing method and so on.This study investigates the management idea of kindergartens,the teachers structure,teaching contents and styles,and children's physical and mental development.Through research,it is concluded that the transition idea is backward,the teachers structure is irrational,their professional attainment is low and physical and mental development of children is affected.Therefore,this study puts forward that taking kindergartens as the main body and changing its transition idea;starting from teachers and building a high-quality teaching body;concentrating on ability and promoting professional development of teachers;children oriented and assuring healthy development of children.By putting forward those measures,the study tries to find a right way for scientific transition to school in this region,in the hope of making contributions to the raise of education quality in Kashgar.The thesis consists of four parts altogether.The first part is the introduction which mainly introduces the research background,purpose,present research situation home and abroad,research design,definition of the core concepts and related theoretical basis and so on.The second part is the present situation.Through interviews,the author investigates the present situation of transition to school and collects related research materials.By using three quality measure dimensions of preschool education,the author analyzes and concludes the present situation in the process of transitioning from kindergarten to primary school in Kashgar.The third part is the problems and causes analysis.After concluding and classifying problems appearing in the process of transition from kindergarten to primary school,the author explores the fundamental causes leading to those problems from four aspects affecting the three quality measure dimensions.The fourth part is the countermeasures.Based on deep analysis of causes,the author puts forward targeted solutions in order to promote the successful transition from kindergarten to primary school and consequently further contribute to them quality improvement of preschool education in Kashgar.
