The profession of teacher plays an important role in the process civilization transmission, and it has been a developing career, teachers’ professional development is an important feature of modern social development. Therefore, the teacher’s education has been one of the hot spots in nowadays education research, and teachers’ specialization research is the core issue of current teacher’s education. Teachers’ specialization is a dynamic process, during developing the professional skills, professional quality, professional moral in teaching career. The professional teachers have to keep strict requirements and continuous learning and research, to gain and maintain their professional knowledge and expertise. The systemic professional knowledge is the foundation of a specialty, in the process of teacher’s professional development, teachers’ professional knowledge is the foundation and important guarantee of development.In recent years, with the thorough study of the teachers’ professional, PE teachers’ professional research was also taken more and more attention,"the current PE education requires teachers to have what kind of professional knowledge", becoming the topics of the people discuss, according to the increasing research of this aspect. From the current situation of PE teachers’ professional research, there is no unified standard of the knowledge structure division, the research of the physical education teachers’professional knowledge is pretty less, most researches are focused on sports teachers’ professional quality development research. Professional quality development, though, contains professional knowledge, the emphasis is the grasp and teaching of sports skills and knowledge, and neglecting the teachers’integrate ability.This paper takes the questionnaires to test the professional knowledge of high school PE teachers and graduates from PE education college students (pre-employment physical education teachers) in Jilin province, from four dimensions:the education theory knowledge, the course knowledge, PE discipline knowledge and PE methodology. It gets the status of PE teachers’ professional knowledge by sorting out and analyzing. The current situation of PE teachers professional knowledge in Jilin province as follows:1.Low scores in every part of professional knowledge for high school PE teachers and pre-employment physical teachers’ in Jilin province;2. the significant difference in course knowledge and PCK for high school PE teachers and pre-employment physical teachers;3. No significant difference in PE teachers’ professional knowledge from different sports technique;4. the significant difference in sports basic theoretical knowledge for the different first degree of high school PE teachers;5. No significant difference in PCK aspects for different school ages of high school PE teachers.At the same time,this study exposures a series of problems of the current PE teacher education, such as:1. the separation pre-employment training and professional training;2. the isolation of PE theory and practice;3.much emphasis on "one special" and ignore the "multi-ability" in sports skills learning for PE major students;4. PE teachers’ professional training can’t meet the needs of teachers;5. lack of the sense of lifelong learning for the PE teachers.Coping with the problems of the current PE teacher education, this paper suggests:First, the construction of the integrative model of PE teachers’educationSecond, carrying out the education apprentice system for the PE students, strengthening the combination of theory and practiceThird, guiding views of correct sports skills for the PE major students;Fourth, perfecting PE teachers’ training system, changing the PE teachers’learning view, and promoting PE teachers’ teaching level.
