This study investigated the Heilongjiang ordinary UniversityStudent Men’s Basketball Team. This study not only understand of thislevel Men’s Basketball Team in daily training, matching, and the fundsinvestment conditions, but also analysis the restrict factors. So as topromote the development of the university Men’s Basketball, manymethods such as literature, questionnaire, interview, and mathematicalstatistics were used in this study and conclusions are as followings.1. Themain goal of most universities ordinary level basketball team is richingand activing campus sports life in Heilongjiang province.2. Mostbasketball team coaches who are undergraduate degree in Heilongjiangprovince were appointed by universities, because of lack of training andcompetition mechanism most coaches are initiative, and the high levelteams also have such problem.3.Basketball team players of university inHeilongjiang province are ordinary students, so the team in universities are lack of competitive.4. The training time of university basketball teamis not enough, in order to improve the training quality; coaches shouldpay attention to the tactics, bodies and mental training.5. The competitionmechanism of university basketball team is not reasonable. Players arehaving fewer matches who lack of experience.6. Recruiting mechanismof university basketball team is not suitable for the development, and theplay’s quality is not high.7. Ordinary level basketball team managementsystem is lack of competition and incentives. The model of basketballteam is lack of social attraction, and leaders of university are not enoughemphasis on the development of the team.
