Quality is the lifeline of higher education, as the expanding for higher education in China, the number of teachers is growing. How to improve the teachers quality, in particular, the quality of young teachers whose amount is occupied more than two-thirds of the total number of teachers, which relate to the quality of personnel training in university, and direct impact to the higher education quality and development.The pre-service training for young teachers is not only a first link but also the important part for the professional development of college teachers, which is the same strain to the development theory of the college teachers’ education, and is the basic link of college teachers’education. In this thesis, the professional development theory of the college teachers is as a theoretical guide, according to the research on the property and significance of the pre-service training for young teachers, the theory system of the pre-service training for college teaches is build.First of all, on the basis of theory research, the characteristics and contents of the pre-service training for young teachers in ordinary college are analyzed and the theoretical basis pre-service training for college teachers is proposed in this thesis.Secondly, the history and the current situation of pre-service training for college teachers are analyzed, and the reasons of the problem are researched.Finally, the recommendations from the pre-service training organizers, young teachers, training contents, training methods and other aspects to improve the pre-service training for young teachers in ordinary college are proposed.
