Currently at the key stage of social transition in China, The transformation of society in manyaspects will inevitably cause the changes of people’s ideological concept and value system.Faced with the opportunities and challenges brought by social transformation for our country,many problems in college students’ interpersonal communication still need ideological andpolitical education work to provide the solutions. Based on the reference about the researchachievements of interpersonal communication at home and abroad, through the documentresearch method and experience summary method, from the concept of social transformationand the influence on college students, this paper tries to summarize the connotation of thecollege students’ interpersonal communication, and further puts forward the ideological andpolitical education goals of college students’ interpersonal communication, namely tocultivate college students’ sound personality and to establish college students’ harmoniousinterpersonal relationship.To carry ideological and political education on college students’ interpersonal communication is very necessary. It is conducive to the improving of content of ideological and politicaleducation and the effectiveness of ideological and political education, establishing theconcept college students’ correct view of interpersonal communication, and ensuring theharmony of campus life. The problems in the process of college students interpersonal mainlyexist in the following aspects: excessive egocentric thinking and ignoring the feelings ofothers; utilitarian trend of communication and lacking sincere attitude; cognitive deviationand lacking of rational judgment; relying on the network communication and downplayingthe reality communication, etc. Such problems are caused by many factors, such as thatmarket economy impact on college students’ interpersonal concepts; colleges and universitiesneglect college students’ interpersonal education; the family environment limit collegestudents’ interpersonal communication; the internet tools affect the college students’interpersonal communication in a negative way.The main countermeasures which can be taken in the ideological and political education workin the process of interpersonal communication are given in this paper in the aspects ofeducators, content, methods as well as environment of the ideological and political education.Firstly, be clear about college students’ interpersonal communication principles to guidestudents to form correct view of interpersonal communication; focus on college students’interpersonal skills and art education to improve college students’ interpersonal communication ability. Secondly, strengthen college students’ psychological health educationto prevent college students’ interpersonal conflict; carry out network morality education toimprove college students’ network self-discipline consciousness. Thirdly, combine thetheoretical education and practical experience to strengthen college students’ learningoutcomes; by the real communication combined with network communication, expandchannel for resolving interpersonal conflict. Fourthly, optimize the reality environment ofideological and political education for the formation of the triune harmonious interpersonalatmosphere; purify the network environment of ideological and political education andovercome the negative impact of internet on college students.
