Both authorities and teams for effective teaching study soar over the pastdecade. At the same time, the achievements in research on effective teachingget a rapid growth. However, every coin has two sides has two sides. Whilethis rapid development brought some excellent results to effective teaching, italso brought many problems which can not be ignored. So it becomes moreand more important to make a combing summarize on the increasingachievements in research on effective teaching, to examine our researchrationally and to figure out its limitations and shortcomings which can promotethe benign development of effective teaching. Research on Education,Curriculum Teaching Materials and Methods and Academic Periodical ofChinese Education are selected as the sample. A review of papers abouteffective teaching makes clear of the characters and shortcomings of thepursuit of the value of effective teaching. It summarizes and analyzing thefuture development trend of pursuit of the value of effective teaching so thatthoughts can be arranged orderly for study. This is of certain theoretical studyand practical guidance significance.This paper is a biblio-metrological analysis research. It consists of fiveparts.The first part is introduction. It mainly describes origin, the currentsituation at home and abroad, ideas and content, methods and significance ofthe research.The second part is the research design. It designs the definition of the core concepts, the sample design, classification of the pursuit of the value ofeffective teaching and Statistical methods.The third part is statistics and analysis of the data. It presents statisticalresults according to the analysis framework of the author. The first aspect isthe statistic and contrast of overall distribution of the value orientation of thesample papers. We made an orientation paper statistics and contrastiveanalysis as well as a molecular orientation paper statistics and contrastiveanalysis. The second aspect is the time statistics and analysis the distributionof the value orientation of sample papers. We made statistics and analysis ofthe sample paper orientation distribution trend of numbers, the development invarious stages and the sample paper orientation distribution trend in time. Thethird aspect is the statistics and analysis for the authors of the sample papers.We made statistics and analysis of value orientation of authors of differentages, genders and status.The forth part is the problems and their causes. Firstly, it inducts andsummarizes the features of the distribution change of the pursuit of effectiveteaching in China in the last ten years. There are divided into three stages ofdevelopment, influenced by the change of the times obviously, the trends ofthe various types of value orientation in keep with The general trend of thedevelopment of effective teaching, obvious differences of contrast orientation,age, sex and identity quantity more seriously than quality of the pursuit of thevalue of effective teaching, and so on. Then discover problems that reflected.They are blind pursuit of the value, academic shortsighted of the pursuit of thevalue of effective teaching, researchers not rich and so on. Finally we probedthe causes of these problems. They are not correct academic atmosphere,self-limitations of researchers, not strong scientific research consciousnessand so on.The fifth part is trend in the future. We analysis the direction of the pursuitof the value of effective teaching in the future based on the previous studies. There will be more researchers. Research viewpoints will express theresearchers’ idea better and have long-term perspective.
