| It is formative years of attitudes and values of life during the university. The college students, especially freshmen, face several problems at this stage. It is of great significance to students’ personality forming and society adapting whether students can adapt college life and develop social skills. On account of the increasing number of students and teacher shortage, parts of students’needs cannot fully met and some students cannot adapt college life. Growth Group, therefore, is an active response to freshmen’s group needs and supplementary entrance education.This thesis conduct research on the theories of Growth Group and Wings Adding Project of Shandong University, exploring the suitability of group work in college students entrance education. It presents the work processes and evalutes the effects with means of interviews and scales to gain exact feedback. It shows that group work gets acceptance of members and other students and follow-up support from the administration of the university.Based on concret cases and group work theory, the thesis provides with effective method in collge students entrance education and practice in college group work. |
