Since the reform and opening up, social undertakings is evolving. At the same time, popular culture arose rapidly. As a cultural phenomenon accompanied with the modern development, popular culture has a strong influence in contemporary Chinese society, and even is becoming popular culture of social life. The popular culture is one of the cultural environments that college ideological and political education must face, and it has penetrated into the daily life of the public in many ways. Popular culture, a cultural symbol with entertaining, commercial and political, has gradually become a medium of learning or exchanging by college students and affected their values, lifestyle and behavior. Thus, the challenge of popular culture to college ideological and political education cannot be avoided.
