At the same time, city problems such as city demolition, environmental pollution, spatial segregation and exclusion have also emerged. Because these city problems have a close relationship with special social background and environment at the present stage, their expression form and means also present a distinct characteristic of the times. At present, a typical example is the Social Resistance in City. In recent years, under the condition of the growth theory the process of urbanization development in China is being accelerated ceaselessly, which accounts for both the destruction of the inherent city spatial structureand the advance of the production of space as well as space reconstruction. Nowadays, the number and ratio of Social resistance in City, caused by the spatial problems, are growing more and more, which has become the main body of the whole social protest. City social space resistance involves numerous personnels, long time as well as high cost, and this fact brings grim challenge to the current city management system.At the present stage in our country, people haven’t formed a clear understanding of social resistance caused by spatial problems. In the nineteen seventies, there rose a tide named "spatial turn" in the western academic circles, which made a critical interpretation for the original space concept. Hence, as to space social resistance in city, we should not only re-examine the essential relationships among space, time and society during the development period, and carefully determine the connotation and characteristic, but also explore the management way to improve our city management system and management level.
