Ph.D. Thesis reflects the doctoral education quality and level, reflects the research present situation and the level of their discipline. Based on the investigation to the Ph.D. Thesis can not only reflect the present situation of the doctoral education, but also can reflect the whole development of the discipline, so as to have a whole understanding of the discipline.Since1997, issued by the academic degrees committee of the state council degree directory to incorporate the economics of education and economics of management into the level1discipline of public management and in1998officially set up educational economics and management major, this new discipline will face all problems faced by all new disciplines, such as the subject category of questions, the research object boundary is fuzzy, lack of theoretical innovation, lack of the research paradigm, the researchers lack, imperfect setup of course system and teaching form is single and a series of problems. In order to carries on the integrity of the understanding on the development of the discipline, this study nearly ten years in our country educational economics and management professional doctorate thesis as the research object, uses the key words in the word frequency statistics method of bibliometrics and citation analysis method systemic analyzed the research present situation of the Ph.D. Thesis.Research found that:educational economics and management professional doctorate dissertation research problem is relatively scattered, lack of focus,"higher education","system","quality management","university","education policy","student loan" as keywords appear the frequency is relatively high, the higher education in the development and system management problem is faced by education economy and management professional doctorate dissertation research hot spot; In addition, educational economics and management professional doctorate dissertations citations of citation in Chinese, foreign language citations is complementary, in the foreign language and in English, other languages, Chinese citation monographs, periodicals and conference papers in Chinese class is given priority to, other classes and dissertation is complementary; Nearly a decade Ph.D. Thesis cited frequency is low, low influence in the academic field. The author believes that the cause of these problems is related to the discipline is relatively young and not yet mature, but more with the unclear orientation of discipline, lack of the research paradigm and the lack of theoretical innovation are closely related. Based on this, this paper puts forward some suggestion to strengthen subject construction and talent cultivating countermeasures of educational economics and management.
