| Introducing computer technique into Geography teaching media isactually a new thing in China. With the continuous development of theeducation condition and multimedia teaching, multimedia teaching hasbecome one of the important research subjects in the reform of geographyteaching. How to make the geography education meeting therequirements of the times, the social demand and the students’ all-rounddevelopment is a key issue for all the education workers.This paper introduced the multimedia computer teaching PowerPointin geography class, and the development of multimedia computercourseware made in Mongolian according to the second chapter theAtmosphere on the Earth focused on the Mongolian versioned GeographyI for the senior high school published by People’s Education Press,This chapter is the most difficult part of the middle school Geographyclass, and the most important part of the whole middle school Geographyknowledge system, and is the foundation part of coming NaturalEnvironment and Humanistic Geography.This chapter concludes a wide space span and a lot of abstractgeographical concept and rule. So how to make students learn it easilyand learn it from their interest is an important objective of this thesis.Also cares much about how to make the teaching materials clearer, intuitive, and more effective. Based on above reasons, the author made ananimation of the atmospheric heating process, atmospheric circulation,Carioles’ force, seasonal changes of wind and air pressure, the cyclonesand anticyclones, the Carioles’ force. And made video clips about thecontent of Cariole’s force.This paper wrote about the overview of geography teaching with theassistance of the multimedia computer technique, including basicsituation of Mongolian computer aided teaching. After making outlines ofthe purpose and significance of this courseware, this paper introduces thefollowing subject like needs analysis, analysis of teaching materials andthe teaching goal, teaching design, courseware making and tools selecting,material collecting, script writing and editing, courseware making andevaluating. And concluded soft wares were PowerPoint, Flash, Premiere,Menksoft software. Other narrating method includes literature method,interviews method, comparative analysis method and method concerningthe computer.In making this courseware we should get to the following5points:1. The animation should conform with the requirements of teachingmaterials and teaching objectives;2. Multimedia courseware teaching should be aimed to improve theteaching quality and should meet the learning rules and the learners’cognitive rules; 3. Good teaching design and script writing is the key to makingmultimedia courseware;4. Selecting appropriate development tools is a shortcut;5. Self learning and self improvement is very important;... |
