The Research And Implementation Of Learning Software Based On Android Platform

In recent years, as the rapid development of the mobile technology and device, people’s concept of education has changed a lot. Mobile learning provides convenient conditions for the realization of lifelong learning and self-learning. Mobile learning, characterized by Anyone and Anytime and Anywhere and Anystyle has become a more popular way of learning in education. Although many experts at home and abroad have engaged in research of mobile learning and developed mobile learning system, mobile learning software is still relatively scarce. So how to choose the platform and how to develop mobile learning software based on this platform should be payed more attention.This paper is aimed at the problem above. First of all, this paper analyzes the emergence and development of mobile learning, also the concept and theory of mobile learning are studied. By comparing the strengths and weaknesses of the mobile application solutions, we conclude that developing new mobile learning software on the Android platform is feasible. Secondly this paper sums up fields that applies to mobile learning and discusses methods of developing applications on the Android platform. Thirdly taking professional english for educational technology for example, this paper makes a summary of problems in teaching, for these problems, this paper tries to discover instruction model based on content characteristics and then states the presentation, interactive forms, and transmission forms of the content. Finally, guided by the theory of mobile learning, the mobile learning software about professional English for educational technology based on Android platform is designed and implemented.
