Research On The Marxist Faith Of Contemporary University Students

The Marx doctrine is the fundamental guiding ideology in China and is the soul of socialistcore value system status. It is the dominant belief in socialist china. University students are thesuccessor and pioneer of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, are the hopeof the motherland. Their Marxist faith not only has great influence on the effectiveness ofIdeological and Political Education of educating people, more closely linked with the destiny ofour party and country. For more than30years reform and opening up, the great changes havetaken place in all areas of society. Value system dominated by a shift to the coexistence ofmultiple and the view of university students ’belief has undergone some changes. The emergenceof the Marx doctrine faith weakened, missing. It is an important issue which need to be highlyconcerned about and solved by Ideological and Political Education in colleges and universities.This paper firstly demonstrated the basic theory of Marxist faith, including the meaning andfunction of faith, the connotation and characteristics of Marxist faith and the significance tostrengthen the Marxist faith of contemporary university students. On this basis, analysis ofpresent situation of Marxist faith of contemporary university students. Through the questionnairesurvey, showing Marxist faith in the mainstream of contemporary university students is positiveand healthy, the overall recognition of Marxist faith is a strong sense. They also has rich reservesof Marxism theoretical knowledge and the ability to consciously practice use of Marxist theoryto solve practical problems. But in investigation we also discover that some problems existwhich are in the mainstream behind in university students Marxist faith that cannot be ignored.Some university students ’view of Marxist faith is deviation, presenting secular, utilitarian,religion, diversity and instability. Aiming at these problems, this paper focuses on the analysis ofthe causes of the problems from the social reality and the students themselves, and put forwardeffective countermeasures to strengthen university students Marxist faith. That is, leadingstudents to the main melody education with the socialist core value system, optimizing theeducational environment of the Marxist faith, perfecting the carrier of Marxist faith education,playing the role of self-education of university students.
