A Research On Professional Standards Of Faculty Members’ Teaching

Teachers’ professionalization is in heat discussion around the whole world.And it is also the key point of reformation and development of education. Theresearchers of education and teachers have the ideas in common that it is necessary todevelop teachers’ professionalization and improve the teachers’ profession level. Thethesis states that the job of teachers who work in university is to teach, the basicsolution of improving professional level is to develop teachers professionalization.The article finds that the job of teachers in university is teaching, the essential way toimprove faculty numbers’ professionalization is to improve professional level.According to summarizing the current situation, the article finds that, most ofuniversities have ignored the characteristic and specialty of teaching when they assessteachers while they examine teachers professionalization based on some professionalstandards which are accredited in medical area. Teaching professionalization is theimportant part of faculty members’ professionalization. In this thesis, the writer willconclude the professionalization process in universities during30years. Andconsidering about the new requirements from globalization and popularization ofeducation and according to the investigation for teachers and students of universities,the writher will put forward the new idea which is helpful to construct teachingprofessionalization of teachers in universities.In the thesis, the writer built a colony which includes personal quality,professional knowledge, professional ability and attitude. Each aspect has its ownsecond-class target. This colony is based on analysis for history, comparison anddocuments and investigation for twenty teachers and twenty students. In order tomake this standard more scientific, the writer took use of spss19.0software. Thewhole standards meet the need from students, teachers and supervisors in universitiesand avoid the problems which the present standard brings.
