As a teaching strategy, code switching has a positive function on the learning. It can be a communication bridge between students and teachers. It also can adjust the atmosphere of lessons. Meanwhile, teachers must note that excessive use of code-switching would weaken the effectiveness of language teaching. This article is a case study on Chinese lessons in Georgian middle school and set to collect a complete and real corpus of Chinese lessons. Then based on these data, the study will go through Statistics and data analysis. Finally, with the interview result, we will do depth discussion on the function and using note of code-switching. |
