The development of modernity has brought the crisis of self-identity, but online game interaction provides a different path of self-identity for the game players. Be different from blind criticism of public opinion on the online game, this research begins at the most important attributes of online games-interaction in online games, centered on the interaction behavior in online games, and in order to expand an interactive and identity issues. Based on the analysis of the typical online game and depth interview of game player, the departure comes to affect the interaction of the two aspects of self-identity in online games, the player with the game and the player with the players in online games, and the two forms of interaction from interactive experience with interpersonal relationships affect the player’s self-exploration and cognition. The player’s reflective runs through the two kinds of interaction, and the online game to game player interaction plays an important role in self-identity.This study suggests that the significance of the interaction of the players to participate in online games is to produce interactive experience of the game space, so players have more opportunities to explore new self-identity, which helps to promote the construction of the players themselves and to view and correct the self-identity in real life at the same time. Therefore, in the general self-identity predicament, online games as a tool of self-exploration and self-realization is an important field of players to explore and reconstruct self-identification.The introduction section describes the research background and research purpose. The second part deals with the literature research achievements of online game and Self-identity. The third part describes the ideas and methods. The fourth part analyzes the online game in two different interactive behavior, and explores the characterization of the players’self-identity. The fifth chapter analyzes why the network interactive games affect the player’s self-identity. The final chapter reviews the main points of the study, and suggests a number of recommendations to guide network interactive games to promote the self-identity of players.
