The new round of curriculum reform, with which emphasis on the quality ofeducation and fairness, promotes basic education reform in China to enter a criticalperiod. Along with the deepening of the reform about the education system, especiallythe promulgation of the new curriculum standards in2003, Chinese textbook haschanged greatly in stage of basic education--from one outline for one textbook toone outline for textbooks, outlines for textbooks, textbooks controled uniformly bycentering management in the past, and gradually turned to the central, local and schoolwith a three-level management. Many versions of the textbooks entered into market,The pros and cons of the influx of many versions of the textbook, textbook quality andchoose become to be the object of today’s teaching primary concern. How to choosetextbooks correctly is the most important issue. Textbook quality is a textbook of life,the most important issue is to choose textbooks with a scientific assessment of thequality of teaching materials, and evaluating the quality of the material is the premiseand foundation to improve textbook quality. Under the objective need,the domestic andforeign scholars concerned about the quality of teaching materials, teaching materialsdeveloped into a routine. This article attempts to build a academic system abouttextbook quality evaluation, and selects Register of JiangSu seventh grade, ideologicaland moral teaching materials quality to evaluate the construction and implementationof the evaluation model, and based on this basis of the evaluation,I raised a few pointsoutlook about teaching materials quality.
