The Chongqing Youth Female Football Development Status And Countermeasures

Compared with the rapid development of women’s football in the world, China has not been performing so well since1999. The kernel of the problem lies in the lack of backups. The world’s football powers all put attention to the cultivating and fostering system of talents, except for China. That’s what we should be aware of.The sports teams and professional football schools are gone, which entails the cultivation of football talents on basic schools, and yet, is in accordance with the spirit of the nine-year compulsory eduction system. Chongqing is the unique municipality in southwest China, and its development of women football is a miniature of whole China. The research on it will not only provide a reference for the improvement of Chongqing women football, but will be helpful in the fostering of football talents here and all over China.Four methods are mainly employed in this thesis:documentary method, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics as well as logical analysis. The research covers eight schools football classes inclusive:Chongqing29th High School, Bashu High School, Nankai High School, etc. The research centers on athletes’training, competition, study and where-to-go after graduation; coaches’ages, degrees, etc.; their parents’opinion on football; facilities in high schools of Chongqing.etc. Thus to provide some advices which I do hope will be helpful for the development of women football and the fostering of women football reserve in China.The research reveals some impediment of the development of women football in Chongqing:insufficient attention of the school leaders,the incompatible confrontations between study and sports, lacking competitions,etc. What was worse,there are not enough qualified coaches nor funds.According to the research, some advises are provided:to improve the propaganda of women football to let know what real football game is; to install a system for making up classes; to complete the competition system; to broaden the way for student athletes’ entrance to higher education and to offer more policy support for teenage female football game.
