With the development of medical technology and the change of medical model, the clinical practice ability of the medical students has been paid more and more attention. Problem-based learning(PBL) has been widely used in the training of medical students’clinical practice ability and probation teaching has played an important role in the process of training the students’clinical practice ability. However, there are many problems in the probation teaching of problem-based learning, such as before probation teaching, the students rarely view the case of illness, in the process of probation teaching, the probationary teacher can’t give students timely guidance to the students due to their busy working, after probation teaching, the communication of the teachers and students is poor and the share of the resources is difficulty. Web-based PBL became a hot research, but still can’t solve these issues that PBL in the probation teaching implementation process. In recent years, with the rapid development of mobile technology, mobile learning that has many advantages such as without time and space restriction, the authenticity of the learning situations, timeliness of interaction, the broad range of learning community, the richness of the learning resources can meet the needs of the development of education. Based on this, the study proposes with mobile technology to reform the traditional PBL learning environment, so as to solve the many problems of the probation teaching.On the basis of the literature analysis, this study firstly elaborates and summarizes the problem-based learning, mobile learning, the support of mobile technology to problem-based learning and their fit and compares and analyzes the difference of the Problem-based learning in the traditional classroom, the Problem-based learning in the network environment and Problem-based learning in the support of mobile technology to summarize the great advantages of the Problem-based learning in the support of mobile technology. Secondly, we investigate and analyze the status of internal probation teaching, the own and the basic usage of the mobile device and the learners’attitude to use mobile device to support probation teaching. Then, we construct the problem-based learning model in support of mobile technology on the basis of relevant theory and research and discuss the process of PBL in support of mobile technology in internal medicine probation teaching. Finally, design and develop the mobile learning system support the internal medicine probation teaching and apply the system to the actual teaching and through case studies, questionnaires, interviews and other methods, analyze and summarize the system’s ease of use and effectiveness.The research shows that problem-based learning supported by mobile technology has an important role in solving the problem of probation teaching. It is convenient for the learner to view cases anywhere and anytime, discuss and communicate to each other, find the learning resources and record the content of reflection. The study carried out an effective exploration on how to use the mobile technology to support the probation teaching and provided a new way to the reform of the probation teaching in the medical schools.
