Math learning is an activity with less concreteness and has certain distance fromreality. The function of self-consciousness is more important in the process offorming coherence between learning activity and self-reflection. As a course that putemphasis on students’ integrated thinking ability, the skills of problem-finding andproblem-solving function as the key point in the whole process of learning. Therefore, math learning cannot be separated from problem-solving process that is the teachingand learning. At present, the secondary vocational school students often fail in theircourse because of their specific characteristics, which affect their mathematicsperformance. Current math teaching ignores the error made by students, resulting intheir repeated mistakes. The quality of learning and learning efficiency decreasesgreatly. Therefore, this paper tends to focus on the common errors of secondaryvocational school students and explores the reasons, thus puts forward someeffective measures to prevent and overcome the errors of solving math problems andimprove their mathematics results.Based on former researches, this paper tends to analyze students’ commonerrors from misunderstanding of topic, error of choosing the method, error of usingas well as error of reflection. In order to prevent and overcome misunderstanding inworking out the math problems, some learning theories are applied in this paper, such as lifelong education theory, subjective education theory, and humanisticlearning theory. Based on the characteristics of secondary vocational school studentsand some surveys, this paper tends to analyze the reasons of mistake in works andput forward some resolutions. The research results will be embodied in the realteaching cases.
