The learning and teaching of synonyms in the primary school period is of great importance.It not only helps with enriching the students' vocabulary,which plays a good role in the study of reading,spoken language,and even writing,but also improves the students' reading comprehension and language expression ability,which makes it more accurate and vivid to express.In the after-class exercises behind text and tests in primary school,synonyms often appear as question type,but the errors made by students are of high rate.Students often make mistakes in the study of synonyms,while teachers doesn't know how to teach effectively.Students complete the questions only with language sense.Teachers' teaching of synonyms lacks of standardization,and the teaching method of synonyms are not concise,clear enough.Moreover,most of the analysis methods of synonyms existing are complicated and tedious,whose steps is very difficult for pupils to operate.In order to have a comprehensive study about the errors in synonyms learning for primary school students,help teachers with the prediction of errors and efficient teaching,this paper selects pupils in grade three as research object,who are in the middle period of primary school,already have a certain vocabulary,start to learn and use synonyms in reading,oral communication,composition and various aspects of the study,and also have a preliminary understanding of part of speech,sets nouns,verbs,adjectives,adverbs-the four types of part of speech commonly used for primary school students as the research scope,collect language materials from the students' homework,composition and test paper,and design questionnaire for survey.After getting the results,sum up the rule of errors made by students in learning synonyms with the data statistics and analysis of questionnaire.Finally come up with analysis method for synonyms easily goes wrong.In the next place,based on the survey data,this paper analyzes internal and external causeswhich possibly lead to errors.For instance,students judge from language sense alone,do not understand the meanings and co-occurrence rules of words,andconfusewords using range;Teachers think little of the synonyms teaching,do not teach literature and language separately,or have little knowledge of synonyms analysis method.In the end of this paper,summarizingthe conclusions and rules all above,the author proposes reserving-difference-phrase method,reversing-phrase method,associating-phrase method,Chinese character component-speculating-phrase method,as well as synonyms interest teaching method.Different from the traditional analysis perspective of bias errors,this paper,from the language itself,uses the original true language materials to design the questionnaire and collect the learners' errors data to analysis around the topic.So as to sums up the regularity of errors,and put forward concise and effective method for synonym discrimination.Using these methods,students are able to make synonym discrimination quickly and accurately.Also the teachers can solve the problems appearing in synonyms teaching,and obtain more standardized,concise,and effective teaching method.
