There is an urgent request for education modernization in the rapid development of modern society.And it is more and more recognized that the modernization of education technology is the important aspect of it. With the development of computer technology and related disciplines, multi-media technology in education is rapidly becoming a mainstream technology in education technology.But the fact is that the application of multimedia technology in China is very uneven.In this paper,the current application of multimedia in Sports in lluniversities of Heilongjiang provinces is meticulously studied by using data, questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics.The conclusions of the study are as follows:1.Multimedia classrooms and computer and other hardware facilities remain scarce in the department of physical education in Heilongjiang universities,campus network function is still not perfect and does not meet the needs of teaching.2.Although multimedia has been more widely used in scientific research on sports,teaching and management,and awareness for CAI is in higher level with a positive attitude,However,problems like the old form of multimedia applications,the relatively low frequency and level of use,courseware production incapability and dissatisfaction of the student toward teacher’ s effectiveness of multimedia teaching exist generally.3.Factor influencing multimedia teaching in Department of Physical Education in Heilongjiang universities is the lack of equipment,the environment and multimedia materials.4.Teachers in department of physical education mainly acquire their multimedia knowledge by self-study and they hope to access more through short-term training.They believe that the multi-media training is very important and it should be comprehensive.5.Teachers in department of physical education have the higher proportion of personal computers and networking,but they also have a relatively low level of computer operating ability and less time a week on the Internet.Recommendat ions:1.Improve leadership awareness and increase the intensity of input on computer,multimedia classrooms,and other hardware facilities. Improve the functions of the campus network for multimedia teaching reform and the creation of the necessary material basis.Schools should formulate relevant management approaches and reasonable measures to encourage teachers to use multimedia teaching,and also can incorporate computer-operation and multimedia courseware production into the year-end appraisal targets.2.Improve teacher’ s awareness of using multimedia teaching, strengthen multimedia hardware construction in the use of practical lesson and improve conditions of multi-media.3.Use short-term training,education and seminars for teachers in the form of comprehensive training,to enhance their ability to use computers and cultivate their theoretical attainments of multimedia technology,and thereby raise their courseware production capacity and level.4.Establish courseware development center,multimedia materials, and gradually establish a collaborative groups based on physical education teachers and supported by professional staff groups.
