Research And Implementation Of USB Wireless LAN Driver On Embedded Linux

USB device is updating quickly results in that USB interface will instead oftraditional interface; Linux have been successful in medical, communications,military applications and the like; ARM, as a special development board, can competethe relevant functions with the cut Linux kernel, it has the characteristics of flexibilityand small size.Based on what I have introduced above, I choose the embedded Linux asoperating system, on which I study the USB wireless network card driver. In thispaper, my major work lists below: Firstly, analyze the Linux kernel and USBprotocols; Secondly, analyze the USB wireless network card driver，and programmethe driver including the detection function, data transmission functions, the datareception function, the disconnect functions and so on; Thirdly, transplant the cutLinux kernel and driver to the ARM; Lastly, build a wireless environment and test thewireless network between USB wireless network card and computer、between USBwireless network card and wireless router.
