In recent years, mining accidents occur frequently in our country, bringing about greateconomic losses and political influence. Therefore, the State Administration of Coal MineSafety Supervision Bureau has established a mine emergency rescue command center, whichimproves the system of emergency rescue command platform. The mine emergency rescuecommunications system is an important part of the emergency management platform. Whenthe underground accidents occur, the system can provide strong emergency communicationservices for the emergency rescue command with paralysis of the original undergroundcommunications system. This subject comes from the National Science and TechnologySupport Program “underground visualization wireless communications technology andequipment for disaster relief based on the mesh network (SQ2011SF13B00488)”. The mineemergency rescue communication system adopts a combination way of wired/wireless andfixed/mobile, and this paper mainly completes design of the wired and wireless WiFi networktransmission system.This design of the network transmission module includes wired and wireless WiFimodule driven design and software design two parts, acting the S3C6410microprocessor andWinCE embedded operating system as corresponding hardware and software developmentplatform. The wired module and wireless WiFi module respectively use the DM9000Ethernetcontroller chip and WM-G-MR-09module from USI company implement driven design andtransplantation. The software part completes a more detailed analysis and transplantation forthe Bootloader for S3C6410microprocessor. After an in-depth study of TCP/IP protocol, thesource code of TCP/IP protocol packet is improved and interface is designed, and thetransplantation of TCP/IP protocol is successfully achieved to the WinCE platform. Finally,according to the design goal of this paper, a corresponding custom network communication protocol is formulated, and the video and audio network transport software and WiFicommunication application software are designed in Visual Studio2005integrateddevelopment environment.The above systems are carried out an actual test in the LAN, and the data packets ofTCP/IP protocol and the video and audio are grabbed to be analysed briefly. The test resultsshow that the network transmission system realizes video and audio network transportfunction between embedded terminals, as well as between embedded terminals and computers.The network transmission system designed in this paper has a strong scalability which canalso applies to other emergency rescue communication system.
