Research And Implementation Of Mobile SNS Game Serverbased On Erlang

With the rapid development of Mobile Internet, it is generally considered as the source of next wave of IT Revolution. This wave has originated from the developed USA and European countries, then spread all over the world. The Power and Vitality it manifested, is greatly much more amazing than Traditional Internet.Mobile Internet is supposed to be the Industry of Trillion Level. Due to the trend of Mobile Internet and the nature of Game, it is decided that Mobile Game should be the central forceof the Mobile Internet Wave. Then in the Mobile Games, because of the SNS nature of Mobile Internet, it is proven that Mobile SNS Game would definitely be the biggest winner among Mobile Games.In this article, I firstly analyze the features of Mobile SNS Game, and introduce Erlang, Concurrent Oriented Programming(COP), Erlang/OTP Framework, and distributed DBMS-Mnesia. Then, focusing on the features of Mobile SNS Game, I work out feasible Erlang-based solutions corresponding to each feature. In order to coupe with the Big Data of Mobile SNS Game, a Erlang-based, open-sourced, soft-realtime, fault tolerance, easily scalable, distributed database Riak has been introduced. Then I conceive a Mobile SNS Game Server Architecture, it includes: Game Core Cluster, Riak Cluster, Ranking Server, and SNS Server, as well as the detail design of them.Finally, I take a practical Mobile SNS Game Texashold’em as an example, to implement the Mobile Game SNS Server of it. The concrete implementation of Game Core Cluster, Riak Cluster, Ranking Server, and SNS Server are described in detail.It is supposed that the Erlang-based Mobile SNS Game Server Architecture described in this article, which can be used to develop a soft-realtime, fault-tolerance, distributed, scalable, stable, and reliable Game Server, would greatly benefit the Company or Individual who want to surf in and make his/her career of this Mobile Internet Wave.
