| Until today, DCS distributed control system widely used in petroleum, chemical,energy, metallurgy, light achievement, environmental protection, war industry, nuclearindustry, aerospace and other industries. With the increasing functions of the system, thedistributed and layered management features becomes more and more apparent, and thedata traffic quantities becomes more and more big. So it is necessary to study on datastorage system, which will prevent the loss of data and achieve data communicationmore effectivily. Digital memory is one of the main product of integrated circuit, mainlyused for storing proceduresã€instructionsã€data (memory)and other information, aslo canread(out) or read and write(deposit) all kinds of data with needs. Because of theapplications of DCS system are used so widely, it can be realized by state and can beused to different actual application, which requires us to design the data forwardingsystem having the versatility and expansibility. So, the thesis study on a data forwardingsystem on DCS.According to the needs of project, design a data forwarding system between thecontrol station and the various communication cards. Main jobs are as follow:First of all, DCS distributed control system is be discussed, and overview thesignificance of the data forwarding.Secondly, this paper summarizes the related technologies, introduces the basicstructure of FPGA and its advantages,besides its design process, and Verilog HDLdescription language, it also introduces the USB bus and RS485bus.Thirdly, hardware circuit of the data redeposit system is designed, including: dataforwarding system architecture, FPGA, USB, RS485and various power conversion chipselection, interface and peripheral circuit.Finally, program of FPGA data forwarding system is designed. Realize the designof FPGA and USB interface module (including, the configuration of endpoit register onUSB Slave FIFO, Slave FIFO mode synchronous “write†and “read†operations), realizethe design of the FPGA and RS485interface module (including, baud rate generator,send control module, receive control module), complete the design of thecommunication protocol (including, USB communication protocol,RS485communication protocol), realize design of the double port RAM (including, IP nuclearusing, working principle of data accessed on double port RAM, processing the competitive phenomenon on double port RAM, the realization of double port RAM). |
