In recent years, as people living standard rise ceaselessly,and the rapiddevelopment of network communication technology, electronic technology, computertechnology, People demand more and more about life quality. Modern living conditions areattracting more and more People. Smart Home is popular in western countries, Although thistechnology start later in China, also having the trend of becoming the important modernfamliy tool.This design suggests that Smart Home is devised with Embedded Processor Platformbased on and GSM network, which mainly include the core part of modern real estatehousehold safety monitoring,Camera monitoring and development board connection fromthe various sensors of real-time results recorded. By the mature GSM communicationtechnology and network technology we can realize concentrate alarm monitoring andmanagement in the community units,which Given the functions and the structure design andhardware principle diagram and software design ideas and can adapt to the differentdemand according to the different needs of the market better, customizing correspondingapplication to complete the corresponding function, this process can be customized by usersthrough a relatively friendly interface. The advantages of Chip S3C2440includes low powerconsumption, simple,elegant,and the static design particularly suitable for cost and power ofthe characteristics of the sensitive type application, having great market potential.This design hardware mainly adopts ARM920T S3C2440chip as core processor,Detecting the physical quantities which security required through the temperature sensorand security cameras monitoring, Comparing with collected data at setted time, such asreal-time video monitoring,which send Warning Message and abnormal photoes to users byGSM, realizing the function of Smart Home.The Use of Triggered monitoring mode,Improvingsyestem work efficiency Greatly and Reducing the transmission of data packets flow at thesame time.which makes the GSM wireles network transmission of data more feasible. Systemsoftware mainly includes embedded Linux kernel transplantation and driverdevelopment,GSM module, Zigbee module. Finally, After successful Debuging, I introducesthe whole system of integration and test results at the end of this paper.The experimental results show:this project realizes the main function of remotemonitoring, achieving the expected effect. This system has stable performance, afool-operational, low cost, high performance-cost ratio, and has a wide application prospect.
