It takes the tasks of automatically uploading data, message transmission,imaging monitoring, digital forecasting the basic data, and offering professional specialweather service, etc. The original traditional management mode can’t meet therequirement of normal operation of the meteorological operational system. At presentthe problems of the business platform in Nanchong city network management aremainly as following: the network management of users’ information is not standard withmultiple modes; The technology is old and backward; users don’t attach importance tonetwork resources, which causes serious resources loss; The users’ data is notcomprehensive, which causes the difficulties of management. The above problems leadto the problems of frequent conflict of network address and business network breakingdown, affecting the daily work as well as the meteorological message transmission.Therefore this paper designed and implemented a network management systemaccording to the characteristics of meteorological service platform in Nanchong city.Based on the principles of appropriate leading, security and confidentiality, reliable,economic and practical operation, the system takes the application to promote thedevelopment of network management system, establish and improve the monitoringmechanism to realize the monitoring of network equipment and server. The systemprovides the operation of visual interface for convenient network equipmentmanagement and global network equipment view, monitoring the data such asequipment operating state in an all-round way. The main functions of the networksystem are as following: device list management, network configuration management,network management, network performance management, and real-time monitoring display, online tools, system management, etc. When the network management systemis completed, the network managers in the meteorological agency of Nanchong canlong-distance manage every computer, switches, routers in the system, which providesthe safeguard for the fast and convenient meteorological network.
