With the advancement of the science and technology as well as the rapidenhancement of computer industry, people’s work efficiency has been greatly improved.Informatization is the inevitable trend of development of universities. Many old manualmanagement processes and methods have been completely changed by the introductionof management information systems to Colleges and universities.Currently, there aresome management information systems either introduced or developed in colleges anduniversities, such as office management system, educational management system,student management system, library search system, personnel management systems,payroll check system, research management system and so on. It has almost realized theinformatization of office, teaching, research, management and service in universities.Because of the increasing college enrollment and the difficulties faced by thegraduates to find jobs, the double degree enrollment is becoming higher and higher. Thenumber has increased from over300previously to more than500currently, but how tostandardize the management and make it efficient. The best choice is to develop asuitable management system for the double degree.The design and implementation ofthe double degree management system is a subsystem of college educationalmanagement system, from which the system-based data ((including students, teachers,curriculum, classrooms, etc.) comes. Due to the complexity of the system of educationalmanagement system, to continue the secondary development will be difficult and thesafety factor will be low. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the self-development andconnect it with the existing management system interface seamlessly, in order to preventthe management system from being isolated and failing to share the resources.The double degree management system has achieved the functions of registration,admission, logging, courses, examinations, results and auditing. The system plays fourroles: administrator, education secretary, teacher and student. The system functionmodules include the following functions: system settings, user roles, student enrollment,admission, pay registration, course management, test management, performancemanagement, graduation audit, query statistics, and data import and export.The system uses B/C structure and designs the web interface by using the JSP programming language on the J2EE platform. It uses the MVC design pattern and theopen source framework Struts, as well as uses the latest technology of today’s softwaredesign, which enjoys efficient development, flexible design, user-friendly beautifulsoftware interface and so on.
