Desiging And Implementation Of A Real-Time Traffic Information Query System On The Mobile Phone

With intelligent mobile terminal in the market more and more popular, the best time of the field of wireless Internet is coming. At this time, the number of all kinds of intelligent mobile application is growing very fast. And the type of application which used LBS technology is the most popular one.This purpose of the subject is combine GIS technology with real-time information service, provide user the way of query traffic real-time information through interface or map. On the platform of Android, we use the Google map which install in the phone on default and the map information by Google, and build a server for the user to provide real-time traffic information and other related services.The needs analysis and summary design of the system is explained very clearly in this paper, through the way of UML modeling the detailed design of the client and server is discussed, and the database of the system is analyzed and modeled, in the last chapter the results of the paper is showed. The system in the paper included a client on Android1.5system and the server which can provide query function. Users can use the client to query the real-time information of the major highway and road in many provinces, and according to the need, user can plan the route between two different sites and the traffic information between them, so the system is very useful to who want know the traffic information very timely.The development of the system in the paper is on the basis of the software engineering principles, and a series of development process is made in the process. At present the subject has entered the stage of trial commercial, and we hope can get the needs and expectations for this type software by the download in the market and the feedback of the users.
