In recent years, China has become the largest producer of calcium carbide in the World.In order to improve the furnace conditions and reduce energy consumption and improveproduct quality, we made the technology research and design on the control system of thecalcium carbide ingredients production to improve the automation level of the loadingingredients control system. It has great significance.With the background on XiMeng calcium carbide enterprises in Erduozi Xinhuacrystalline silicon Ltd, this paper designed and improved the30000KVA calcium carbidefurnace system.The ingredients materials process of the calcium carbide furnace involved someintegrated technology, for example the PROFIBUS-DP field bus technology, computertechnology, communications technology, control technology and network technology.Through the PROFIBUS-DP field bus Field device control layer where the Siemens S7-400series PLC is as the control core, connect weighing sensors and a variety of field devices,and assumed the control of the entire system equipment. It formed Industrial Ethernet basedon of the CP443-1communications processor and optical switches, so that the RJ45interfacecan connect to the IPC to ensure that industrial Ethernet Quick Links. And the PROFIBUS-DP bus with the High-speed transfer rate ensures the smooth communication between thecontroller and input/output system.With the analysis of dynamic weighing system and the automatic control systemresearch of the cutting in the quantitative based on dynamic weighing measuring, this paper,propose appropriate solutions and establish the mathematical model.The program design used modular idea that first to classify the equipment in eachcategory to create a subroutine that is for calling in programming, then the variable is directlyconnected to the calling subroutine. It achieved automatic control of the raw materialssection, ingredients section and loading material section and improved batching accuracythrough frequency and point dynamic control. The program has so good readability andportability that it provided a convenient post-project maintenance and extensions.The host computer used the combination between IPC and Wincc that solves industrialtechnology for visualization and control tasks in the automation of the production process,and provides the functions template being suitable for industrial graphical display, information, archiving, and reporting and the use of Wincc configuration monitoring featurescan achieve real-time dynamic monitoring of the ingredients on the material process.Withthe Advantage of high-performance process of coupling, fast screen updates, as well asreliable data transfer, it has a high degree of practicality.
