From consumer electronics to a variety of industrial equipment, embedded systems have penetrated into our daily lives. Most application software of embedded devices is closely combined with operating systems. It is because of powerful functions of embedded operating systems, embedded system makes such a great role to play. Therefore, the embedded operating system is essential. FPGA and ARM are two different fields, While many general-purpose processing using ARM processors, and in support of the embedded operating system, ARM is also very sophisticated. FPGA can be applied more widely, and has higher flexibility, so embedded operating systems based on FPGA have great practical significance. As open source, stable, high-performance and wide range of support, Linux system is becoming more and more popular on the server and PC. So the Linux system taken as an embedded operating system is a matter of course.This dissertation introduces System on a Programmable Chip and its development process. Building hardware configurable embedded system on FPGA by SOPC technology has many advantages that conventional embedded system do not have. Embedded systems operating system transplantation method based on SOPC is profoundly studied, the corresponding package is modified, and embedded Linux operating system image is compiled, SOPC embedded systems can work regularly on FPGA development board.On the basis of the above work, SOPC system used in the intelligent transportation system in the bus station information terminal. The article gives an overall system design, the system includes many channels connection, authentication, data decryption receiver, peripherals, display and alarm function module; discuss deeply of the various component modules of the system functions and detailed design; focuses on access to multiple connections and connection authentication algorithm; gives the system’s implementation.In the last, the article builds a simulation test environment to test the system. The test environment mainly includes the SOPC-based information terminal bus station, car terminal and a central server. A program has been programmed to test the function of the system. Test results show that the implementation based on SOPC bus station information terminal system can meet the needs of intelligent transportation system. |
