Pump testing technology is positive effect to pumps research and development of the basic theory, improve performance and improvement of design method. Pump performance is an important element of national product life, therefore, the design and implementation of the pump test system is one of the important subject of industrial production, but now pump testing system in China is low accuracy, impractical and unreliable, most of them are semi-automated form, and even some of them data record by manually. There is not integrated management for the measurement signal. Compared with foreign countries is still relatively backward.Distributed Control System (DCS) and field bus technology underlying project as the construction of enterprise information network infrastructure, a combination of electronics, communications, instrumentation and network technology development results, advanced control devices and control system technology. The distributed control system and field bus technology enables the system toward the direction of decentralized, intelligent, network development, to more closely control the combination of technology and computer and network technology. The latest developments and standards in the DCS field bus provide a convenient connection for the control system and information network.Based on the research and analysis of principles and methods of pump testing system in this article, according to the specific requirements of the pump testing system, computer technology, sensor technology, data acquisition and processing technology shaped combined and integrated into the field bus control technology of pump each parameters of the performance testing.First, The Thesis introduced of the process for the pump testing system and the way to test pumps in this factory. Second, The Thesis learned the basic concepts, technical characteristics, typical standard of DCS and Field bus technology and then designed a test system.On this basis, this study designed a Siemens S7-300series PLC to build the overall program structure control systems based on the PROFIBUS-DP Master, and thus the key equipment selection process for the pump test system. Then begin the detailed design according to the design, including the realization of host and guest equipment. Finally, introduce a specific method of the communication between Visual Basic and S7-300、Visual Basic and third-party digital instrument communication two computers. On the same time, used effective anti-interference method, to stabilize and make reliable the system. According to traffic control system with nonlinear characteristics of time variability and uncertainty, writing programs on the computer and using PID control. It’ll make the system overshoot, good stability, fast response. Overcome the traditional methods of traffic control to completely rely on the experience of the operator, adjusting the time-consuming, laborious and accuracy is not high shortcomings.The system meets the process requirements of the system to achieve the control of the pump test requirements to achieve accurate and efficient detection of the pump factory test.
