LIS (Laboratory Information System) is build with a set of modern managementand computer based high speed data processing technology, mass data storagetechnology, broadband network technology, automation instrument analysis technologyas a whole for laboratory information management and control. Laboratory can achieveautomatic operation, information management and paperless office purposes to improvelaboratory efficiency, reduce operating costs play an important role through LaboratoryInformation System.This thesis first introduces the development and application of LIS, in thecontinuous development of society, the requirement of LIS system will become moreand more urgently. Therefore, the LIS system is required to has much more functions ofrobust data transmission and processing, while the security also has new requirements.Work process also needs to be simplified for the development of LIS system formanagement. A new technology bar code is introduced to realize the" paperless "inspection chamber to change the working mode of laboratory. Then, the thesisintroduces the hospital laboratory information management system in the developmentprocess used in the development of thought and related technology which include objectoriented method, serial communication interface principle and connection method, barcode technology.In this thesis the hospital laboratory information management system is designedbased on the three layers of the C/S model, software development tools Delphi,database using SQL Server2000. After detailed study of a hospital laboratory at presentthe daily work and management needs, gave the software system analysis and demandanalysis. In the implementation of LIS system, they can be much more efficientimplementation of laboratory testing, and can make use of information technology toolsto improve work efficiency. The LIS system can be used to be done by hand worktransferred to the machine work, reduce the work flow. For the patients with goodmedical service, more efficient use of human resources, more effective test analyzerperformance, improve the quality of management information. On the basis of the demand analysis to the system performance, the thesis designsprinciple of function module, and presents the design goal to solve the interfaceproblem, in the realization of the system, emphasis on the introduction of the system inthe main module realization. LIS system is provided with7functional modules.Application for inspection, sample inspection module, report auditing and issue module,query module, report printing quality control module, analysis module, system settingsmodule. After the system test shows that, this system basically achieves the expectedfunctions, and finally are the conclusion and prospect.
