Due to the adverse weather conditions, the pilot cannot observe the runway causing the aircraft cannot land safely. Airborne runway imaging radar corner reflectors on both sides of the airport runway in such conditions detect the distance and orientation of the two-dimensional imaging. It guides the aircraft landed safely in the harsh climate and environment. The single pulse angle measurement signal processing systems is realized by a FPGA+DSP-based system solutions to achieve the imaging function.This paper introduces the basic theory of monopluse sum and difference beam measurement angle, including the working principle of monopluse sum and difference beam measurement angle, and the implantation of digital quadraturedemodulation and pulse compression. Firstly, the system hardware circuit and peripheral circuit is designed, and sub-module circuit chips are selected. Secondly, the implementation of FPGA about digital quadrature demodulation and pulse compression procsee is introduced, and peripheral interface circuit is designed,(FPGA module is programmed by Verilog HDL, simulation is verified by Modelsim software). Thirdly, the solution process of the target parameters by DSP chip is analyzed, such as target azimuth and distance estimation, true and flase targets identification and coordinate information transforming into functional. Finally, the system module testing results are given to prove the signal processing system design is feasible. The system can achieve the desired results and have excellent performance.
