| With the development of aerospace technology, more and more specifications of datastoring system are required, such as speed, capacity, power consumption and reliability, whichrequire a reliable data storing system. According to research status and requirements of thesubject, we designed a weapon telemetry system Data logger based on LVDS to complete thedata storing tasks.This system is built based on a FPGA hardware platform,which receives the digitalsignals through LVDS bus. Then the large capacity FLASH memory stores the digital signalsin the form of TTL level. It takes full advantages of FPGA’s controlling and processingabilities and the high flexibility of hardware descriptive language VHDL, to achieve thecontrol of the system’s working mode, and successful accomplishes the design of interfaceand sequential logical. LVDS receiver receives large amounts of data from editing device,which is characterized by high speed, performance and reliability. This Spartan-II FPGAfamily provides dedicated blocks of on-chip, true dual-read/write port synchronous RAM,with4096memory cells. The block RAM memory offers new capabilities allowing the FPGAdesigner to simplify.At the same time, it implements a data cache and speed matching. Thislarge capacity flash memory is a nonvolatile memory, it can store a large amount of data. Thekind of design saves development cost, shortens the development cycle,and provides a lot ofadvantages, such as small size,strong flexibility and high reliability.we introduce the application of LVDS based high-speed bus transmission technology andprinciples,and explain several problems encountered in the design and give out thecorresponding measures. A set of tests is applied on the system to verify each module. |
