The Research Of How To Evaluate The Qoe Of Video Streaming Under Wcdma

The technique of mobile communication has been developing rapidly nowadays. The video streaming service is more and more important to the Operator of Wireless network instead of traditional telephone service, as the video streaming service can bring a lot of profit while the telephone service tends to be saturated. In order to ensure the quality of video streaming service, operators have taken the QoS measure. However, it cannot actually ensure or reflect the quality of users’ experience, and therefore there is the urgent necessary to quantificate the quality of user’s experience(QoE). This paper uses the data of streaming service test under WCDMA to train the neural network algorithm,making it able to assess the level of QoE, and it has been verified to be feasible.This paper does the research on how to evaluate the QoE of the video streaming service under WCDMA network. Firstly, this paper does the research on the characters and protocols of WCDMA video streaming as well as related materials, and puts forward a set of indexes to show the quality of experience; secondly, it analyzes and summerizes the factors which influence the QoE of video streaming service, which consists of the input of BP neural network; thirdly, it conducts a CQT and SSCQE test to collect datas that can be used to train the BP neural network; finally trains the BP neural network algorithm based on Matlab.This paper puts forward a method to solve the problem of evaluating the video streaming service and does good to the operator for improving the mobile network intime as well as competitiveness.
