With the rapid development of China’s market economy and the deepening impact ofeconomic globalization, materialistic values in our country’s increasingly influential,has an impact on people, especially employees the importance of psychological andbehavioral variables. The research is based on the current transformation of Chinesesociety brought about the disintegration of traditional value system growing, rampantmaterialism and the prevalence of the phenomenon, with employees pay satisfactiondimensions aspects of the theory and research, through a large number ofquestionnaires and data collection, analysis of the pay satisfaction of employees in thewide dissemination of the values of materialism and the consequent lower valuejudgments on staff psychological and career development impact.This article used Richins and Dawson scale preparation of the material values whichwere revised by the form of questionnaires, the use of SPSS18.0software for dataprocessing and analysis, combined with correlation analysis, regression analysis,document analysis, and other statistical methods, using t test and variance analysismethod, multidimensional employees pay satisfaction variable in the materialisticvalues of the differences on each dimension were compared, and through analysis ofthe materialistic values, between the pay satisfaction relationship.The main conclusions of this study are:(1) Except job occupation, there were no other variables like age, gender andmarriage have greater impact on pay satisfaction.(2) The concept of money in thematerialistic values and pay satisfaction from the part of intermediary between therole of materialistic values career development for employees has a direct influence.
