A Study On "Overall Flexible Control" Of Rural Urbanization

In rapid rural urbanization stage, China needs to reflect three problems seriously. Thefirst one is how to maintain the economic sustainable development of arable landwhile expanding urban areas;The second one is how to combine city high efficiencyoperation with rural natural environment, and to create the Chinese characteristiclivable, green city; The third one is how to give full play to the role of urban design inthe rural urbanization process, to turn beautiful town vision into reality, and avoid thedesign drawings dilemma, which is," drawing paper, just hanging on the wall ".For the first two questions, in the Dujiangyan Juyuan Newcity conceptual design, thetraditional pattern of the city planning concept is broke up into parts, and new specialurban image composed of several city islands is formed, which is called"TianZhongCheng ". The Urban spatial form implies ecological effect, the designconcept is integrating LinPan, forming new relatively concentrated LinPan, namedcity island. Building the border of City Island, and the urban construction area andnature is organically combined extremely, so that we can achieve the nice willing ofharmonious coexistence of the rivers, farmland and regional urban construction.In order to implement design concept, to turn the city image "TianZhongCheng" intoreality, the paper aims at the third question, and adopts the American urban designguideline, discussing the "overall flexible control" approach of rural urbanization.Comparing and analyzing several ecological livable town in the street network andscale, open space, street furniture and detail in the worldwide, so as to provide thebasis for the design phase of the overall elastic control. In the process ofimplementing design concept, the thesis fully considers the resources, naturalconditions and population and social conditions in the area according to the localcondition. The thesis explores the corresponding control rules of industrial planning,transportation, land use, the function layout, urban construction, spatial organizationmodel, public space, landscape design and so on. Overall flexibility has two kinds of control type, prescriptive control and performance control. In the aspects which areclosely contacted with design concepts, such as the land use, the function layout etc,the prescriptive control is chosen. When making the land development constructiontechnical indicators, we choose pour extrapolation. That is, firstly find out thepleasant building layout and spatial form, then calculate corresponding technicalindicator according to planar and architectural form effect; in the aspects which arenot so closely contacted with the design concept, such as the construction of color,street furniture etc, performance control is chosen. With the premise of guaranteeingthe result of design, give architecture fully and freely exert space, and encouragedifferent ways and the design means to reach the final effects.
