Study On The Government Behavior In Development Small Town Supermarket Chains

In this paper, the status of supermarket chains development in small towns and thegovernment present situations in the process described, analysis of supermarket chains tosmall town development process encountered various obstacles, to explore the issue ofgovernment behavior problems. The exploration of supermarket chains directed to thesmall towns can drive economic development in small towns, also more employment.However, the process of supermarket chains to the small towns has been very slow. In thisarticle, the author hopes to resolve the government behavior problems in the process ofsupermarket chains to the small towns through the research of supermarket chains to thesmall towns in the plight cooperated with current situation of government behavior, finally,provide some reference suggestions.Firstly, the main content of this paper is the government action problem in the path ofsupermarket chains development to the small towns. The article on the one hand introducethe present central government action in the development of supermarket chains to thesmall towns, the central government gave strong support in the policy, issued a serious ofgovernment measures, but has little effect on policy implementation. On the other hand,there are variety of relationship of economic benefits between the local governments andoriginal small supermarkets. Due to the existing supermarkets of small town not supportedthe presence of supermarket chains, and it lead to the government will protect the localmarkets to take measures for the presence of supermarket chains to set a variety ofobstacles.Secondly, for the above all, the author extracted four participants: the centralgovernment, the local government, supermarket chains, small town residents, the use ofgame theory were related to the knowledge of the central government and localgovernments, supermarket chains and small town residents and the game between localgovernments of small towns and supermarkets chains. The study found the centralgovernment against local government protections and will supervise these actionseffectively by investment funds. For the small town residents in terms of the supermarketchains presence will not only not raise the local prices, but will bring them more quality and cheap goods; besides of economic benefits between local governments and thesupermarkets as well as the government performance considered, the local governmentstake the point of disagreement to the presence of supermarket chains in short time, butspeaking of long-term economic development, the local governments will take welcomeattitude to the development of supermarket chains in small towns.Finally, according to the above game results, this paper can be drawn in thesupermarket chains development process, on the one hand, the central government shouldcarry out governmental functions scientifically, take correct government actions, to thelocal governments supervision and investigation of performance are more reasonable,guide the development of supermarket chains to the small towns correctly; on the otherhand, the local governments have to consider the long-term regional economicdevelopment, increase the investments to infrastructural construction, maintaining marketorder, give full play to government functions.
