Research On Efficiency Of Automobile Industry In China

The automotive industry is the very important industry of the national economy, and manyindustries have a strong industry association with automotive industry. Through theoreticaland empirical research, we get the following conclusions: First, China’s auto industrytechnical efficiency is higher overall, but the gap is big between the enterprise; Second,China’s auto companies need to improve the level of technology and management; third, theemployees’ level of education or the technical level of the efficiency of the auto companies,and management factors are increasingly affecting the efficiency of the auto companies.Thought the research we find that the level of our country’s automotive industry havebecome the most key factor. We studied efficiency of the automotive industry from Differentaspects using DEA method, and the Tobit regression to measure the affecting facts on theefficiency of the auto industry, the with combining with the SFA and the Malmquist indexmethod to get a further study conclusion.The main innovation of this paper is reflected in the research method, In this paper, the DEAand other methods combined together to form a scientific methodology. It can be used toanalyze the problem of industrial efficiency. This methodology is based on the theory ofDEA, and make fully use of the advantages of the DEA. This methodology may have sometheoretical value.
