Research On The Performance Evaluations And Countermeasures Of Science Popularization In The Living Areas Of Chinese Minorities Based On Behavior-result Oriented Horizons

The living areas of Chinese minorities are short of natural resources, poor of trafficinfrastructures, and the people are lack of cultural knowledge and weak of awarenessof science and technology. These result in the lag of their economic and socialdevelopment. The technology is the "engine" to promote economy and social progressin the living areas of Chinese minorities. Science popularization is the basic way ofenhancing the scientific and technological strength of the living areas of Chineseminorities. Performance evaluation is an effective means of improving the sciencepopularization of the living areas of Chinese minorities.For these reasons, the research did the performance evaluation of sciencepopularization of the living areas of Chinese minorities from behavior-oriented andresults-oriented horizons. The behavior-oriented performance evaluation is based onthe science popularizations of the local science and technology organizations, and usea model to evaluate their works. And this research is divide into two aspects. On onehand, it places the living areas of Chinese minorities in the nationwide to find out thedifferences of the efforts of science popularization between them and the other areas.On the other hand, it researches on the efforts of science popularization over the yearsand follow-up study to announce its variation. The result-oriented performanceevaluation mostly focuses on the residents’ satisfaction of the living areas of Chineseminoritie’ science popularization, which based on the results of questionnaire surveythrough taking Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang minority Autonomous Region as anexample. Then, according to the results of performance evaluations, the paper putsforward suggestions to promote the living areas of Chinese minoritie’ sciencepopularization’s performances, and to promote their economy and socialdevelopments.
