The Product Quality And Economic Growth

Since the reform and opening up policy, China’s economy has made great progress accompied with a high speed. And impetuous development were made in our foreign trade.The amount of Export were increased from 9.75 billion dollar,1978 to 1201.67billion dollar,2009 and became the world No2. However, technique and product quality are still not advanced. Famous brand is seldom and product quality incidents become constant. The quality of ecomonic growth is in doubt. Thus to analyze the relationship between product quality and economic growth is of important theoretical and practical significance.This paper first analyzes the relationship between the ecomonic growth and the quality of export commodities, and puts forward the defects of their evaluation. Subsequently this paper analyzes the structure of export commodities is not optimized, unveils the reason and indicates the technique progress is the key solving method. In this background, this paper furthers to analyze the foreign developed countries’macro-quality polices and evaluation system of the quality of ecomonic growth such as Japan, USA and EU and establishs a model of the system. Additionally, this article studies on the quality stategies of the enterprises and analyzes the cost and profits based on the maximum profits pointing out the quality above and beyond path to the enterprises.Finally, based on the analysis above, the paper makes the following major conclusions: (1) product quality incidents increase accompnied with the ecomonic growth.(2)Goverments pay great attention to the product quality problem, while they are in the way of finding out the solving motheds.(3) Studying on the relationship between product quality and economic growth is of important significance. Quality above and beyond of the ecomonic growth is based on the product quality. At last the paper tries to put forward the following suggestions:(1) we can absorb the advanced experiences to establish the evaluation system of product quality satifaction index of customs. (2)surpervision and administration departments should reconsider their evaluation system. They should evaluate the level of product quality except the conformity with the product standards, establish the database of quality evaluation standards and investigate the product quality satisfaction.(3) The regional governments should Implement their duty to take the product quality account into their achievements of careers and build the platform of the quality information announcing.
