Discussion On The Design And Compilation Of Overall Landuse Planning Atlas At The Town And Township Level

As the basic material of human survival, land resources quantity, quality and spatial layout have great influence on economy, society and environment. Our National situation of much population, little average land and increasingly heavy land prerssure forces us to cherish and protect every inch of the land, and implement the most strict land management measures. To achieve this goal, we need to formulate a scientific overall land use planning. However, the land is limited and its position is not removable, the overall land use planning need not only quality, quantity, but also position. Therefore, in addition to text data, the compatible overall land use planning atlas are needed.A new round of the overall land use planning is underway, and Planning Atlas Compilation is an important part of land use planning. The researchers home and abroad have done a lot of research on various Atlas Design and compilation, but to the study of overall land use planning atlas, especially Township Overall Land Use Planning Atlas Design and compilation, the result is not much discussion, this article carries on the discussion. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)According to the overall land use planning text and the production requirements of atlas, the content of atlas is designed, which contain four groups, sequence diagram group, Current situation analysis group, Planning group and center township group.(2)Some key problems of the towns and townships Overall Land Use Planning Atlas Design and compilation are discussed. The Foundations of Mathematics are designed according to the actual situation of cartographic region; After the comparison and analysis of common mapping software, it is obtained that ArcGIS have obvious advantages in mapping, data management, spatial analysis and other aspects, ArcGIS is recommended as the preferred drawing platform; Based on the content design of the atlas, the overall land use planning database based on atlas completion is established on the basis of town and township overall land use planning database; Because of the changes of atlas scales, map generalization models for data batch processing are builded through the Model Builder tools; map symbol design and production is the important content of atlas making, some symbols are provided by specifications, other map symbols need to be redesigned and reproducted, through other auxiliary software and ArcGIS symbol management function design and fabrication of atlas symbols was completed; making of fundamental geographic maps and thematic map is discussed in the artical.(3) According to the Delphi method,the towns and townships land use planning atlas are evaluated, with the example of Mingyu Town, Nanchuan District Chongqing City, it indicates that the overall performance is good.
