| Western Development is essentially subordinate to the overall process of modernization,which is to explore New Road of Modernization in the vast Western Region in China. Modernization is a holistic transformation process, in which, human history is changing from traditional society to modern society, this process involves various changes and development of people, nature, society andother relation. Western Development is a matter of overall transforming traditional society to modern society, especially in the vast Western Region in China. Marx’s modernity critique has made a thorough and systematic analysis of the modern transformation of human history,which supplies scientific theoretical perspective of modernization dimension of Western Development for us. Therefore, the paper makes a systematic analysis of modernization dimension of the Western Development, basing on theoretical perspective of Marx’s modernity critique, and also explore show to take a New Road of Modernization of Western Development further.This article mainly discusses from five different levels.(1) The paper analyses problems existed in both practice and research in Western Development, puts forward the subject to be researched and the theoretical perspective and basic ideas of this research.(2) This research mainly reflects existing theoretical perspective of Western Development, points out the deviation from Marx’s modern critical perspective, and illustrates modernity concept and theory contained in Marx’s modern critical perspective. (3) This paper makes a systematic analysis of the modern dimension of Western Development mainly from Marx’s modern critical perspective, and reveals dimensions of industrialization, marketization, science and technology, democratization, globalization and other inherent integrity relation.(4) Based on five modern dimension of Western Development, the research clarifies fundamental and essential principles and ways of taking a New Road of modernization of Western Development. |
